All new for 2018 is the 5th Generation of the Turbosmart Pro Gate 50mm External wastegate. For the newest generation Turbosmart went back to the drawing board using the information that they have learned from the previous 20 years experience of external wastegates and come up with the all new Gen V series.The newest incarnation of the ever popular Turbosmart Progate is their 50mm external wastegate offering designed for both street and racing use. The aim of the 50mm Progate is to get maximum flow though the compact size, The new smaller size also negates the need for the Progate Lite, the new Pro-Gate will fit in spaces only the Progate lite would in the past. Featuring Turbosmarts tried and tested unique locking collar design. The collar design allows for rapid spring changes and features the super heat resistant nomex reinforced diaphragm

Turbosmart have tested this new range to destruction performing an analysis of fatigue testing of more than 700 simulations and 1 million cycles with the aim of providing the best performing wastegates available on the market today.?

Key Upgrades include the addition of optional liquid cooling, this handy new feature is for use in the hottest of environments such as down the back of a transversely mounted engine where airflow is extremely limited. An all new completely variable actuator cap and base utilising the tried and tested locking collar design, strap type V-band clamps for easier fitting, 1/8? NPT ports, and they are now provided with a range of springs.

All Gen V Wastegates are backwards compatible with IV generation Wastegate fittings.
